2009 Fall Marching Show
Ladies and gentleman, the 2009 ELCO High School Raider Band proudly presents
its field show entitled “One if by Land and Two if by Sea.” The show that whisks
you off to the movies for a fabulous triple feature!
We open our show with John Williams’ energetic score from
Indiana Jones and The Raiders of the Lost Ark. Our arrangement includes both
the Raider’s March and Marion’s Theme. Soloists are Ian Taraschi on Alto
Saxophone, and Lucas Heck on Mellophone. We follow with the dark and solemn
Hymn for Red October from the movie The Hunt for Red October. We end our
show with two short pieces, Ritual and To the Pirates Cove, from Disney’s
Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest.
The band is led by Drum Majors Jesse Baker and Ezekial Blouch. Section leaders
include: Taylor Aponick, Emilee Pfautz, Crystal Bennetch, Kimbre Nee,
Grant Cooper, Rachel Ebling, David Frey, Bekah Molnar, Adam Shreve,
Ashley Lynch, Joel Logan, Joseph Bair, Jessica Johnson, and Kerry Joy.
The 2009 Raider Band staff includes: Color Guard Instructor, Mr. Charles Troxel; Percussion Instructor, Mr. Mark Doll; Marching Instructors Mr. Kristofer Miller,
Mr. Jeremy Ulrich, and Mr. David Fair. Drill Design and instruction by
Mr. Geoffrey Harman. Our Assistant Director is Mr. Craig DeVore;
and our Band Director is Mr. Kenneth M. Krause.
