ELCO Jazz Lab Band
The ELCO High School Band is inclusive of concert, marching, and jazz formats.
Our system of "band is band" offers our students the opportunity to experience
multiple facets of instrumental performance while demonstrating school and
community spirit, musicianship, and social responsibility without having to
sacrifice academic, arts, athletic, or community involvement.
The primary goal of the Jazz Lab Band is to introduce the basic styles and varieties of
jazz literature; while also giving them the knowledge and abilities to continue in music.
The lab band uses full instrumentation, doubling and tripling parts to ensure everyone
wishing to participate can have an opportunity. The Jazz Lab Band performs annually at the
ELCO High School "Celebrate the Arts" Festival held each spring at ELCO High School.
